Compare/Contrast, Psychology/Psychiatry...need help with my mediocre writing. (it's long)?

We Answered:

That was good. A few too many commas, but I, have, that, habit, too.

he/she: should be he or she.

"just a psychologist": that's a little demeaning, isn't it? And are schizonphrenics more likely to be "referred" to someone, rather than choosing one?

"team players": "members of a team" would be better. "Team players" implies something a little different to me -- someone who doesn't criticize, someone who follows the team goals and ideas even if they differ from her own.

This sentence isn't clear: "The two professions also work individually". Because it isn't really the profession working, it's an individual who pratices that profession. But I don't have a better suggestion.

"intertwined as being the same"? That's confusing. Did you mean to say that people often mix them up? Or that they often work together?

"Psychiatrists procure an astounding" - procure isn't good here. There's no harm in using "earn" in both parts of that sentence.

"fifty percent of psychiatrists chose" should be choose.

"whilst" -- in America, at least, that should be "while".

"These two accomplices of service, work together". Accomplices isn't a good work here, and there's one of those extra commas.

But that was really good.

OFW's gain or loss in building our nation?

We Answered:

Working abroad is a decision made by the person. If only the government can provide better jobs for Filipinos that will allow them to live comfortably, then I bet our OFWs would never wanted to go abroad, unless for pleasure.

THE GAINS:
1. Remittances help the government a lot.
2. The families received money from overseas, thus, allowing them to survive the daily living.

THE LOSSES:
1.The decline of workforce or what youve mentioned, the loss of adept workforce, that will build our nation.Sayang kasi yung galing ng Pilipino, ibang bansa ang nakikinabang.
2. Sacrifices made by both of the OFW and the family.

If they decide to settle abroad, maybe that is because they have a good future there or that country has more to give.

In my own experience,I had to go abroad because my dad needed operation. If I stay in the Philippines, we cannot afford to pay the hospital expenses.I am in the Construction Sector, and I worked before in a company whose Contractor is DPWH.I quitted the job primarily because of two reasons: Maliit ang sweldo ko and nakita ko ang corruption between my boss and DPWH people.

You are right, we loss workforce in our country, and that is a sad reality. We are the one who comprises this nation. However, we do not work abroad just to earn for ourselves: we give something for our family, our government, and for ourselves also. Our Neighboring Asian Countries are rapidly growing, however, the Philippines is lagging.

For moms going to school and work and raising a baby?

We Answered:

I think 15 hours is too much to start - especially with a new baby. Even with dad taking care of it you will be pooped. Babies are demanding, sleep schedules are hard to come by...and for fifteen hours - you need to factor roughly three hours for reading/homework per class per scheduled class time .. that is a lot of time to stay current. Take the nine hours and ease into it so you can see where you fit into the baby's schedule and your work schedule. Also, if I remember right, full time is full time and the loans do not distinguish between 9 or 15 credits...so use that money to help you transition as well.

Do nurses in the US specialize?

We Answered:

When you earn your RN license in the US after passing NCLEX, it is a general license which allows you to work in any number of specialties. The employers themselves will train you in to whatever specialty you work in. Some places will advertise the job and say they prefer someone with experience in that specialty but most places have such shortages that they are willing to train people with no experience in the specialty.

Certifications in specialty areas are earned after you work in the specialty for at least 2 years and then take another exam through the credentialing organization for your specialty. You can also go on to graduate school for a master's degree preparation in nursing, becoming a Clinical Nurse Specialist in your specialty area, or a Nurse Practitioner.

Copare/Contrast essay, Need desperate help!!?

We Answered:

I think that u are mistaking the two ...definitely both have same goal of studying the human mind and behavior..but psychologists focus more on observing the behaviour and try to connect it to some long or short time experience of the patient and only solution they give is to avoid that situation or doing just the opposite.while psychiatrist after getting the problem give the solution practically applicable.
Also psychiatrists are generally professionals and and curing people they earn money.but psychologists are generally teacher in humanity department where they do not get much pay.
Or you may say that psychologists are scientists but psychiatrists are engineers.Scientists give more focus on inventing the theory for the general case while engineers focus is to applying theory and applying in real world situation with suitable simplification and assumption.
