Medical Physics Graduate Programs

Warren Said:

Do you think I can get into medical school?

We Answered:

To get into an American medical school you will need a bachelor's degree.

If you take the reqscience courses in a degree program, and do well, then the professors teaching those courses could write recommendation letters for you.

Willie Said:

Which University Should I transfer to?

We Answered:

Chicago is cool but consider this, you are less likely to get into a grad school program if you attended the school for undergrad. so look for which has the best grad program then the best undergrad and transfer to the one with the best undergrad program then apply to the other school for grad school

Jamie Said:

Which college should I choose?

We Answered:

Does one of them have a particularly good undergraduate research program in physics, biology, biochemistry, or chemistry? Then choose that one. If you want to go to graduate school, it is important to get good research experience as an undergraduate. There are two reasons. First, it helps you know whether or not you really love doing research. If not, you have time to change career paths relatively early. Second, it will help you get into graduate school.

Wilma Said:

I want to go to grad school. What should I major in?

We Answered:

Medical physics is very lucrative these days; about half the non-academic positions I see advertised are in medical physics. I'd say that's a great way to go.

Gene Said:
