Business Education Degree Online

Eduardo Said:

how many classes does it take to get a bachelor degree in Business information system ONLINE?

We Answered:

Bachelor's will at least be 120, Grad will be about 45+ credits including (15 - 21 for major) depending on how they run their programs.

I think it's best you request information through their website and you can even request a guidance counselor to give you a call so that you can hear what they have to offer. If you don't like what you hear, you don't have to commit, that's the good thing about all this!!

Good luck with your decision!

Gail Said:

Where is the best place to get a degree online that businesses will accept as a degree?

We Answered:

Congratulations on thinking about furthering your education, you won't regret it.

The state universities and community colleges will be the best and least expensive way to further your education online. Usually degrees obtained online from state universities and colleges will be no different than a degree granted to a student sitting in class.

Stay away from the for-profits because of high cost. Some will be reasonable, but most, like University of Phoenix, overcharge.

If you are just starting your college education or have less than 60 semester credit hours, try your local community college first. They may have an online AA degree program. If they don't, try other community colleges in your state.

Once you have an AA degree, you can enroll in an online bachelor's degree completion program at one of the state universities. Many state universities now have online degrees. The following are some websites to get you started.

Finally, when you choose a school, make sure it is at least regionally accredited. You can check accreditation at http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/Search.a…

Good luck

Online business classes NOT for a degree?

We Answered:

Some of the very best schools in the country are teaching online these days...

UC-Berkeley http://extension.berkeley.edu/online/
Cornell U. http://www.ecornell.com//
Harvard U. http://www.extension.harvard.edu/Distanc… (IT, Econ, Management)
Penn State http://www.worldcampus.psu.edu/
UMass http://www.umassonline.net/
1000's of others
probably your own state U and local community college as well.

Any school that offers full degrees online will be able to offer you individual classes. All schools that offer classes online don't necessarily offer full degrees that way.

If you're wanting to spend "on the cheap" for your classes - most good colleges won't meet that need.

Louisiana State University http://is.lsu.edu/home.asp?level=CO&onli…
and
Brigham Young University http://ce.byu.edu/is/site/

Are known to be a bit less expensive than most 4-year colleges/universities.

Discuss It!
