The Fire (January 1991)
In January 1991, a fire ravaged the structure, leaving only a fragment of the original building intact. Surrounded by residential subdivisions and small businesses, the school remained one of only a handful of tangible links to the early days of Bedford. Therefore, City officials and a committed group of volunteers, planned the building's restoration to its original (1914-1915) appearance. |
