Ok, I'm going to be straight with you. Unless it's from and accredit college (University of Delaware, University of California, etc...) don't take online classes. Itt tech, University of Phoenix, etc... you should not take. Those classes are worthless.

Yes I have been attending Kaplan on line CJ program. It is awesome and self passed. I would say go for it. It is indeed nice doing it from home.

Whenever you go online, you have a mix of options.
The state of Alabama ( and many other states) will only accept programs of study that are accredited by the following schools:
Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)
Middle States Assoc of Col & Sch (MSA)
Northwest Comm on Coll & Universities (NWCCU)
North Central Assoc of Coll & Sch (NCA-HLC)
New Eng Assoc of Sch & Coll ( NEASC-CIHE)
Western Assoc of Sch & Coll ( WASC-ACSCU)

If the accreditation's are not one of these, then they are not recognized, thus the problem for transferring of college credits to another institution will not be accepted, nor the degree obtained be recognized for application on a resume for a job.

Nobody knows. Ironically enough, everyone who has participated in that particular online degree program is now in jail themselves.
