7th Grade Math Software

Tonya Said:

How do you respect yourself and set yourself goals when there are always people there who have done better?

We Answered:

Instead of using so many words against yourself tell yourself 'This too shall pass'. All one needs to remember - either 'From where one came' or 'Where one would end up'. You do seem to understand that even if you scored highest in your class, in this huge huge universe one does not measure up to even a speck of dust.

GED scoring? I'm soooo confused..?

We Answered:

It could be that different sections are given higher or lower grading weights. The questions themselves may also have different weights. You should ask REA directly for a concrete answer.

learning & remembering math for kids????

We Answered:

You're a pretty good big sister. Too bad there aren't more out there like you!

Here are some sites that have separated their lessons by grade level:

http://www.aaamath.com/

http://www.internet4classrooms.com/

http://www.homeschoolmath.net/worksheets…

http://www.time4learning.com/

http://www.kidport.com/

http://edhelper.com/

There are tons more. I did a google search with "4th grade math" as my search words, then I removed the end of the url to get to the main website.

Make sure they do some reading, as well as math. Find books at the library that cover subjects they like. Maybe you can find a book they both like. Have them both read it, then talk about it. The Chronicles of Narnia, by CS Lewis, are a good choice. The books are fairly short and the subject matter is popular right now (thanks to the movies). Could even ask them to compare the books to the movies.

Can you recommend good software for middle school math students?

Will I ever pursue my career?

We Answered:

viruses get you jailed and youre in 7th grade, youre still in childhood.

my boyfriend isnt the best at math either but he is in the video game industry and writes software, so theres hope. just find yourself some math books at the bookstore that might explain things to you in a way you understand.
