Try teaching textbooks. It's a great curriculum. It comes with instructional CDs, solution CDs and test answer solutions. Grades 4-7 are actually done on the computer. Or you can do it with pencil in the accompanying workbook. Pre-Algebra-Calculus can only be done with paper and pencil. This is our 4th year using Teaching Textbooks.
You can give a pre-test on line and determine what level is best for your student.

So If x = number of $5 increases, (20 + 5x) = price and (300 - 30x) = quantity

So R = (20 + 5x)(300 - 30x)
By FOIL, R = 6000 + 900x - 150x^2

The maximum for a quadratic ax^2 + bx + c happens when x = -b over 2a
Here a = -150 and b = 900 so max is when x = -900/-300 or 3

So you need three $5 increases. Plug 3 in for x to get the maximum revenue.

I would stay away from computer programs or things of that nature. An age appropriate math activity book and reading books are a lot better at this age.

Does she have a chalkboard? Our 5 year old daughter loves when we write math problems on it for her to figure out, or when we write words for her to read and copy.
