To get college credit for AP classes you just have to receive a 3, 4 or 5 on the AP Test and you do not have to actually take the class.

Perhaps take the highest level of Biology offered at your school and then research on your own from there?

As for online courses, I would not do this as my neighbor did this and got a 2 on the test for the course skipped A LOT on the actual curriculum.

That's pretty specific... but when I was in high school, I found that sparknotes was a passable source for a few subjects. Also, www.boredofstudies.org (this is an Australian site, but I'm guessing the subject would run fairly parallel). Don't forget, for quick reviews on a topic or to answer a quick q, there's always wiki!

I graduated from an online home school (Penn Foster). But i had some Transfer Credits from my old public high school. In total i did 51 graded lessons 12 classes total in 6 Months and Graduated. It all depends on you and how much time you spend doing work. I didn't do work everyday.
